Overview
Throughout the course of my career I have been fortunate enough to work with companies that also need their e-learning courses to be accessible to learners in other languages. I am bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. I can fit in well in special projects that need to be developed in multiple languages, because I can develop English, Spanish, and also French courses.
I contract two native Spanish translators that use Trados Studio a computer-assisted translation tool with a built in AI environment that helps speed up the translation process, and helps maintain consistency in the use of the client’s preferred terminology.
The translated French text has always been provided to me by the client. I am fluent enough in French to be able to develop the final French courses accurately.
My Process
This is a graphic that I created to demonstrate the process I follow to quickly translate and develop complex image and video rich e-learning courses, while maintaining accuracy and consistency in high-volume projects.
